This year we have 14 Teams in 2 Divisions of 7 which consist of the following teams:

U7 Timings*:
Gates/Registration opens: 8.30am
Registration closes: 9am
First matches start: 9.15am (late arrival for the first, or any game results in a 1-0 victory for the opposition)
Final Group matches finish (estimated): 12.10pm
Knockout Stage matches finish: N/A - U7 and U8's are non-competitive, all these teams get a participation medal after their final game.

Other notes

The draw will be done randomly before the event. We will in advance separate teams from the same club where possible.

Rules will be ratified by Surrey FA and shared with the parents in advance of the start of the event.

Groups with 6 teams will play 12 minute matches versus the other teams in their group, divisions of 7 or 8 teams play 10 minute matches - note, there are no half time breaks.

Unfortunately, back to back games aren't feasible in most formats, especially with so many teams entered - where possible we try to add additional time between back to back games for a quick breather and to help teams move between pitches for their next match.

We recommend downloading the Tournify App so we can help ensure our team arrives on time for all our matches - the gaps between games are tight so our Marshalls and Referees are instructed to ensure kickoffs happen on time.

In line with Surrey FA's guidance, U7's and U8's are non-competitive, and all players therefore get a participation medal to be collected at the Registration Tent after their final game.

U7/U8 matches are 5 a side. We will be wearing our home colours, however a set of bibs will be available in case of any kit clashes (teams marked as the away team will be asked to wear a bib).

Playing surface is grass - please ensure to have the appropriate footwear and accessories for the day.

Horley Town FC, Anderson Way, off Court Lodge Road (enter via Horley Leisure Centre), Horley, Surrey, RH6 8SP.
Note - please be advised that no dogs are allowed at HTFC

Car Parking*
We have a decent sized car park that is shared with the Leisure Centre, but with so many teams entering it will be full on both days. As in previous years, we would strongly recommend car-pooling to the event where possible to reduce congestion on the day (plus it's the greener option!). When the car park is full, you will need to park in the surrounding estates - this will likely mean a 5-10 minute walk, so please bear that in mind.

Tournify App
We will be using the Tournify App for the event which will provide you with your fixtures and live tables on the day. We will let you know when we open access up to all teams and send more details about how to access this in the next update.
